The living room is the heart of the home—breezy and open to the garden in the summer, and warmed by a crackling wood stove in the winter.
In summer, the surrounding Beech forest creates a playground of cool shade and dancing sun-spots. Once the leaves fall, the forest opens up to a quiet, breathtaking view of the valley.

About
Located in the middle of the forest on a cliff, this house was named Orlič – the little eagle – by our grandmother. A photographer and nature lover, she spent her weekends here capturing the beauty of the Dolomites and many happy moments of local families. I grew up spending my holidays in these woods, and today, it still feels like home.
With the help of our neighbors, the Košir family (hosts of the nearby Alpaca’s Barn), we’ve opened Orlič to guests. We are happy to keep the house alive and warm, welcoming travelers from all over the world to this special corner of Slovenia.
